Sakshi, known for her genuine and humble nature, completed her early education in her village. Financial hurdles arose when she moved to Wardha for her 12th. Despite her determination, the burden of living expenses and educational costs weighed heavily on her. It was then that she found solace and support in कृषक कन्या. With their assistance, Sakshi not only completed her 12th but also excelled in the CET exam, & placed in Government Engineering College Amravati.”
From Adversity to Achievement
Deep, a Sewashram student, faced early adversity with the loss of his father. His mother’s unwavering determination led her to admit him to Sewashram in 7th grade.Deep received crucial support for living and education at Sewashram. With perseverance, he graduated in pharmacy.Excelling in the GPAT national-level exam, Deep secured a spot in the prestigious Government College of Pharmacy Karad.
Empowering Youth Through Culture
Children from different areas, circumstances, and cultures were sheltered at Sevashram and Asmant Snehalaya. Here, children received school education and became interested in cultural activities. In 2023, under the Youth Service Directorate of Maharashtra State Pune, at the Division Level Youth Festival, the children of Sevashram and Asmant Snehalaya won the first prize in folk dance and the second prize in folk song.
